Born and raised in Urbana, IL., Nate Holley's life has been surrounded by music. His dream has always been to be a musician. Starting on the drumset, Nate joined Atrius, a heavy rock band, in Urbana at age 15 with friends from Urbana High School. The switch from drums to guitar came at the age of 18, when discovered that it was the melodic side as well as the percussive side of music that intrigued him. In the spring of 2002 Nate formed KSG with Dan Baskel and Alex Sanchez, adding Alex Anderson in October of 2002. Nate's inpirations in music are: raggae, rock, funk, and folk music. Nate's favorite musical artists are: G-Love, Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, Stephen Stills, and Rush. Nate's goal in music is to create the ultimate mix in music, to try to appeal somehow to every listener.
